May 9 is one of the most significant and touching days in Uzbekistan — the Day of Remembrance and Honor, dedicated to all those who showed incredible courage, resilience, and self-sacrifice for the sake of future generations, peace, and freedom.

On this special day, ASIA KIDS School held a ceremonial assembly filled with sincere respect, gratitude, and bright remembrance. Students, teachers, and parents gathered together to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for peaceful skies above, to those who worked on the home front, and to those who fought for independence and a brighter future.
The students prepared heartfelt performances: poems about heroism were recited, children performed patriotic songs, and touching words of gratitude were followed by applause and tears in the audience. Each performance was not just a creative act, but an expression of respect and love for those who made it possible for us to live in a free country.

The taekwondo demonstration performances made a particularly strong impression, becoming a symbol of strength of spirit, courage, and the pursuit of a peaceful yet resilient future. These sports displays, like a dialogue between generations, reminded everyone present that respect for the past is also reflected in today’s commitment to becoming strong, honest, and kind individuals.

The Day of Remembrance and Honor is not only about the past, but also about the present—about how we preserve this memory and pass it on to children. Heroes do not die; their feat lives on in the hearts of grateful descendants.
