Russian Language Day at ASIA KIDS School became a bright and memorable event for students and teachers. The day was dedicated to Russian culture and the Russian language and also served as a great opportunity for children to learn more about the traditions and history of Russia. The event was held on a large scale, and its atmosphere was filled with fun, learning, and a true sense of celebration.

The wave of positive emotions began early in the morning when students, approaching the school entrance, immediately felt the atmosphere of Russian culture. At the door, they were greeted by Russian language teachers dressed in traditional Russian national costumes. The men wore embroidered shirts, while the women wore beautiful sarafans and headscarves. Such attention to detail instantly immersed everyone in the festive atmosphere and captured the children’s attention.

The teachers not only greeted the students in national costumes but also invited them to take part in interesting quizzes. The questions were diverse, ranging from simple ones related to the Russian alphabet to more challenging tasks requiring knowledge of the Russian language and culture. For example, the children tried to solve riddles in Russian, guess the meanings of old Russian words, and even name famous writers and poets. All quiz participants received sweet prizes—traditional Russian treats such as honey gingerbread cookies, pies with various fillings, and kalaches. The students happily took part in these competitions, as the tasks were not only entertaining but also educational.

In addition to the quizzes, Russian culinary items prepared with care and love were offered to the children at the school entrance. Among the treats were not only sweets but also more filling dishes. The children were served pies with meat, potatoes, and cabbage, which were especially popular. On the tables there were also traditional Russian pancakes with jam, honey, and sour cream. The culinary corner, decorated in the style of a traditional Russian wooden house, became a focal point for the children, who happily tasted the dishes and discussed which ones they liked most.

This culinary journey through Russia became not only a tasty but also an educational experience for them.In addition, mini-lectures were held as part of the day about Russian holidays such as Maslenitsa, Easter, and New Year, as well as the role of the Russian language in the world. The teachers explained how important it is to learn foreign languages, especially Russian, which is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. The educational aspect of the event was carefully designed so that children could not only enjoy the celebration but also gain new knowledge.

Special attention was given to Russian music and dance. In the school assembly hall, workshops on traditional Russian folk dances were held. The children happily learned to perform circle dances (khorovods), practicing steps and movements typical of Russian folk traditions. The entire hall was filled with lively music, and each child felt part of a large, friendly community.

The final part of the day was a grand celebration, where the children were able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the event. They sang Russian folk songs, recited poems, and gave short presentations about what they enjoyed most. The children proudly spoke about traditional Russian holidays, the images of which they tried to recreate in their crafts.
