An engaging open English lesson was held at ASIA KIDS School, where students studied the verb “to be” in the Past Simple tense. To make learning more interesting and effective, the teacher used a variety of games and interactive activities.

The lesson began with an explanation of the grammar rules, after which the students reinforced the material through engaging games. One of the highlights was the “TV Screen” game, during which students learned new vocabulary describing people’s appearance. This activity allowed them not only to expand their vocabulary but also to practice using the new words in context.

Throughout the lesson, the children actively participated in various activities, sang songs, and rolled a dice to reinforce their understanding of grammar and new vocabulary. This game-based approach helped the students better understand and remember the rules.

Special attention was given to activities using handout materials. The students were asked to describe each other’s appearance in the past using childhood photographs. This task not only assessed how well they had mastered the topic but also added a touch of fun and nostalgia to the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, the teacher assigned homework and rewarded the students for their active participation. The most outstanding participants received handmade medals, which became a pleasant surprise and an additional motivation for learning.

The open lesson at ASIA KIDS School proved that learning grammar can be fun, engaging, and memorable.
